WRVS helps older people to live well and maintain their independence by providing practical support in people’s homes, the community and hospitals.

We are looking for self motivated people to join our team, within our Meals on Wheels service in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

This position requires a flexible approach, possess good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team in addition to working on your own initiative. You must be available to work bank holidays where applicable and be prepared to work across a diverse range of services within the local community if required. All training will be provided.

As a driver duties will include, delivering hot meals to our customers, reporting any problems which may occur and the completion of records by hand. You will need to hold a valid driving licence and this post is subject to a satisfactory CRB check.

This is a part-time position working 7 hours per week, 3.5 hours Saturday and Sunday on a temporary basis until 31 May 2012.
