WRVS is one of Britain’s most active voluntary organisations. We are seeking to recruit a gardener on a temporary nine month contract from March to December 2012 to work at our Hertfordshire Good Neighbours service.
The service offers a variety of support to older people in the Hertfordshire community and requires a flexible, self motivated person.
You will have a flexible approach to work and good communication skills along with a caring attitude towards our clients. You will require a full clean driving licence and a company vehicle and equipment will be provided. A CRB check will be required for the successful applicant.
Essential skills:
- good polite customer service with a positive approach to older people
- previous experience of gardening
- good organisational skills to manage paperwork
- good time keeping
- experience of cash handling
This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
