Thank you for considering a donation to WRVS. Your support will help us reach out with compassion and practical help to 100,000 older people every month.
We give simple but precious support – like Meals on Wheels, community transport to help people get out and about, support for those coming Home from Hospital, the chance to meet friends at our lunch clubs and community centres or just the regular visits of a Good Neighbour who calls in for a chat and to make sure people are keeping safe and well.
Too many older people find their lives are restricted or lonely in later years, but with your help it doesn’t have to be that way. Our volunteers generously give their time to help older people to remain independent and live the kind of life they want to live. However we receive no government funding, so we can only support their tremendous work with the help of donations from friends like you.
At both local community and national level, we work with a range of trusts and grant giving bodies to enable us to support more older people.
By supporting our work you will be helping make Britain a great place to grow old. WRVS has a proven and significant impact on the lives of older people in this country and demand is growing.
