Voluntary work with WRVS
We help to change lives. You can too with one of the UK's largest volunteering organisations with over 45,000 volunteers.
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. You can make a difference to the lives of older people and help them to live independently and with dignity or to others caught up in emergencies and disasters.
A few hours of voluntary work a week is all it takes to make a real difference and you will be providing much-needed support and services to people who need them most. All on your doorstep.
If you want to make a contribution to your local community, WRVS can put you in touch with people who need and value your help.
Volunteers often get as much out of volunteering as the people they are helping. It’s a great way to meet new friends, have fun, share or develop your skills and expertise, build confidence and to make a difference.
Voluntary work with WRVS is ideal for students or graduates looking for gap year voluntary work, or for anyone looking for work experience whether short or long term.
