David Jones MP visits hospital service in North Wales

Thursday, 05 January 2012

David Jones MP and volunteersConservative MP for Clwyd West, David Jones, met some of the local people who volunteer at the WRVS tea bar at Colwyn Bay Community Hospital when he stopped by for a visit.

The tea bar provides customers with much more than a cup of tea; volunteers provide a friendly face and sympathetic ear for those who are visiting loved ones at the hospital.

"I was very pleased to pay another visit to WRVS and see the wonderful work that they are doing in our community. For over 70 years WRVS have been playing a very important part in helping people in time of need. Their work today is just as relevant as it has ever been. There will always be a need for caring, dedicated people whose prime motivation is to make the lives of others easier."
