Research International needed to significantly enlarge their panel of volunteers, a mix of individuals and businesses all over the country who send test letters to each other on projects they undertake to independently assess Royal Mail's Quality of Service.
"Research International were delighted to select WRVS as a charity partner from 2007. We needed to engage with a charity that had a full UK coverage or reach through their regional offices, volunteers, friends and supporters across all 121 UK postcodes. We also needed to work with a charity whose volunteers had synergies with our typical profile of panellists to ensure that the results remained robust as the panel enlarged.
“It is inherent and imperative that volunteer panellists could afford to take time most days of the week, demonstrate flexibility and survey endurance. Finally, volunteer panellists need to have a sense of community and public service responsibility for the postal service - which impacts on most communities and individual's day to day lives.
“We strongly support the WRVS vision and how it touches and benefits communities, which is also an underlying theme of the official Royal Mail measurements - a perfect match." Amer Hasan, Research International.
