In autumn 2008 family-owned company Cosyfeet adopted WRVS as its charity partner and pledged to raise income each year to further our vital work. Cosyfeet specialises in extra roomy footwear, socks and hosiery for men and women and will donate money from the sale of its best-selling slipper and is planning a number of events for its employees to drive staff fundraising.
“WRVS is Cosyfeet's chosen Charity of the Year. Working together with WRVS we aim to raise £15,000 to fund the important work they do within communities, and particularly the work they do to help older people maintain their independence.
Cosyfeet is determined to help WRVS make a difference. For the next 12 months our people will be undertaking all sorts of fundraising activities to raise £15,000. We will also be working alongside the WRVS on campaigns to get its message across to everyone,” said Robin Beech, marketing director, Cosyfeet.
